The broads on board the Southern Comfort

  Today was an early start at 5:45 AM because we want to get to the Horning Marina at the lastest at 10:00 AM. The Mississippi Steam Boat „Southern Comfort“ wants to leave at 10:15 AM.

But Michael saw a deer on the lawn next to myself.

 

Today Jim joined us on our tour.  He had taken over the navigation. We had arrived right time to meet the others at the Horning Sailor parking lot. Driving as a classic car in the UK isn‘t that complicated. The you can run in most cases with the daily traffic. As a Model Y it could be tough, because the speed level is lower than in Germany

Due to the distance and the tight time frame most of the Y and C didn‘t drove to the Marina. They were represented by their younger cousins.

After the cruise we go off to Langham Dome, a former training facility of the RAF during WW 2. 

 

Thursford Steam Collection

Michael did a photo shooting this morning of several cars. 

After that we drove to Thursford Steam Collection. Here are several steam mobiles, steam roller and organ pipes on display. The most annoying thing was the music from these organ pipes.

After that we went back to the Farmhouse in Fincham. On our way back we take a rest at Castle Acre Castle. A norman castle from the 11th century. 

On the next day will drive to the Broads for boat trip
